The Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) has launched its new patrol and rescue boat, christened M/B FAB Patrol, to ensure border security and law enforcement within the FAB’s jurisdiction.
The patrol vessel has additional trailers and complete accessories, including medical and safety kits. Stoneworks Specialist Int’l Corp. manufactured the patrol vessel and is ISO 9001 Quality Management Certified.
The ceremony was held on November 8, 2023 before the inaugural plunge of the patrol and rescue boat, led by Father Raymond Gutang. After the short mass, AFAB Administrator & CEO Mohammed Hussein Pangandaman smashed a bottle of wine against the boat’s hull as part of custom, allowing the wine to flow and serve as a carpet to launch the boat to sea, accompanying its sailors with good luck and safety.
Also present were the AFAB Chief of Staff Augusto Kimpo, Deputy Administrator for Operations Atty. Michael Angelo Paderanga, and Corporate Affairs Technical Officer Paul Robert Salapantan. The post AFAB Launches M/B FAB Patrol appeared first on 1Bataan.
